Piningo 1.2 has now been submitted to Apple for review.
This update focuses on making the app easier to search, easier to place pins with precision, and a little more polished every time it launches.
Version 1.2 includes:
- search across pin notes and street addresses
- inferred street addresses for pins, with manual editing and refresh
- faster long-press pin dropping on the map
- refined custom map markers and a smoother cold start
- improved onboarding readability in dark mode
Release notes for 1.2:
- Search pins by matching notes and street addresses
- Inferred street addresses for pins, with manual editing and refresh
- Faster pin dropping with long-press on the map
- Refined custom map markers and smoother cold start
- Better onboarding readability in dark mode
Piningo continues to be a private place memory tool. There are still no accounts, no public feeds, and no app-owned backend. The goal remains simple: save places that matter to you, organize them your own way, and come back to them later on your own map.
The review process is now underway, and another update will land here once version 1.2 is live.
